Radomir Antic: The tactical genius who made history at Atlético de Madrid

His playing career

Radomir Antic's career as a player was quite extensive since he played from 1967 until 1984. From his days at Partizan Belgrade to his time at Fenerbahçe in Turkey and Real Zaragoza in Spain to end his career with 4 years in the Luton Town, fashion team in 2023 after his first promotion to the Premier League.

Throughout his coaching career, he led renowned teams such as Real Madrid, the Athletic of Madrid and the FC Barcelona. under his direction, Atlético de Madrid achieved the historic League and Copa del Rey double In the season 1995-1996, an achievement that will remain etched in the memory of football fans forever.

He also coached teams like Real Oviedo in 2 stages, Celta Vigo, Shandong Luneng y Hebei Zhongji , they are in the chinese league.

Regrettably, the 6 April 2020, the world of football suffered a great loss with the death of Radomir Antic. To the 71 year old, this great coach and former soccer player left a void in the soccer community and in the hearts of those who knew him and admired his work.
