Big clubs are left off this list. Without going further, the FC Barcelona and the Real Madrid. The merengue stayed at the gates because they are the great dominator of the European Cup (also in the latest Champions League format). They also achieved two UEFA Cups but never lifted the Cup Winners' Cup. They were finalists in the year 1983 but they fell, surprisingly, against him Aberdeen Scottish that, by then, Alex Ferguson trained.

Meanwhile, the Barça he has also achieved two of the three great continental trophies. The Catalans were champions of the Recopa and the European Cup, but nevertheless, never achieved a UEFA Cup. It is true that Barcelona conquered three Holiday Cups although this tournament, organized by FIFA, its results have never been recognized by UEFA nor officially accounted for to the highest level of European football.
